Hatchmates
Pixel pet for two

Raise one tiny pal, together.

Hatch an egg with your person. Take turns feeding it, play games, send letters and doodles. Your pal only grows when you both show up.

Small rituals, every day.

Hatchmates is a cosy, low-pressure habit for two people. A few taps a day keeps your pal happy, and every little moment shows up on your partner's phone too.

Hatch it together

One of you adopts an egg, the other joins with an invite code. Care for it and watch it grow through each stage.

Letters and doodles

Send short notes and 32×32 pixel doodles. Your pal carries them in its satchel to your partner.

Decorate and celebrate

Earn love to furnish the room, collect sets, and join seasonal events like Winter Cabin.

A streak you keep as a pair.

Each of you does your half: a feed, a pet, a play. Miss a day and your pal sulks; leave it alone too long and it heads off on a trip until you both call it home. Nothing is ever lost for good, and nothing can be bought back.

The pal has left a postcard: it went on a trip

Visitors, games and quiet nights.

A cat might wander in. A robin might leave a gift. Play Memory Match or Soccer for extra love, tuck your pal in at night, and fill a memory book with your favourite letters and doodles.

How it works

  1. Make an account. One of you adopts an egg and names your pal.
  2. Invite your person. Share the code; they join, and the egg is now yours together.
  3. Show up a little every day. Feed, play, write. Your pal grows, your streak grows, your room fills up.
